The short version
Nothing non-essential is set unless you agree to it. Analytics is consent-gated: if you decline, the analytics script is not loaded at all, rather than loading in a reduced mode.
What is set today
Strictly necessary
Your answer to the cookie banner is remembered in your browser's local storage under the key searchdone.consent. It holds only the word “granted” or “denied”, is not a cookie, and is never sent to us — it exists so that you are not asked on every page. The signed-in parts of the product set session and security cookies to keep you signed in and to protect form submissions. None of these require consent, because the service cannot function without them, and none are used for tracking.
Analytics — consent required
Google Analytics 4, to understand which pages are useful. It is loaded only after you press Accept on the banner; declining sets nothing, and everything on the site works either way. If you accept, Google sets its own cookies (their names begin _ga) to tell returning visitors from new ones. We do not use Google's advertising features, and analytics data is not joined to any account you hold with us.

None. If that ever changes it will be stated here first.
Your choices
The banner lets you accept or decline with one press each; rejecting is a single action, not a menu you have to fight through. To change your mind later, use the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page: it clears your stored answer and shows the banner again, and if you had accepted, analytics is told to stop and the Google cookies it set are removed.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop the signed-in parts of the product working.
